Account Manager

Carpenter Co. is the world's largest vertically integrated manufacturer of polyurethane foams, serving a diverse global marketplace with polyurethane chemical solutions, polyester fibers, and insulation materials through a network of more than 60 production facilities worldwide. Our Kouvola facility produces traditional comfort solutions, mattresses (both consumer & medical) and technical foams including rolls and bonded foam applications.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Finnish team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales and strengthening Carpenter's market position in Finland. You will work closely with existing customers while actively identifying new business opportunities within the manufacturing industry. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of your customer portfolio, influence commercial strategy, and contribute directly to business growth in a global market-leading company.

What you'll do

• Drive the commercial growth of Carpenter Comfort Solutions in Finland.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities and market segments.
• Develop and execute sales plans aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor market developments, customer needs, and industry trends.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and business terms.
• Support profitability by managing pricing strategies and commercial risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience and business performance.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience selling materials, components, or technical solutions to manufacturing industry customers.
• Experience managing and developing your own customer portfolio.
• A proven track record in acquiring new customers and growing sales.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating pricing and contracts.
• Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and business plans.
• The ability to identify market trends and translate them into commercial opportunities.
• Fluency in both Finnish and English, written and spoken.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in technical sales.
• Experience in polyurethane, furniture or bedding industry.
• Experience managing distributors, dealers, or key accounts in the Nordic market.
• A background in B2B sales and business development.

Location & Travel

This role requires regular travel within Finland to meet customers, develop business opportunities, and support market growth. Our Finnish team is based in Kouvola, and monthly visits to the office are expected.
